In Rupen, four persons broke into the shop and rained on the father and son of the trader

Jamnagar, Dt 26: A father and son running a provision store at Rupen port in Okha were tricked by four persons into selling a packet that had passed the expiry date. Police have launched a search for the accused who broke into the shop.

Vinodbhai Meghjibhai Bhayani, who runs a shop called Randal Provision Store near Chhapra Bazaar in Rupen Port in Okhamandal, was at his shop last Friday when Yakub Lakhabhai Bhesaliya, Lakha Jumabhai Bhesaliya, Suleman Iqbalbhai and Yusub, two Made blows after being punched.

He was also beaten when he fell between Vinodbhai's son Rajeshbhai who was present in the shop. Police have registered a case against the four persons on Vinodbhai's complaint. According to the complaint, Lakhabhai's wife had bought a packet of rose flour from Vinodbhai's shop. Shortly after Rajeshbhai handed over the packet, Lakhabhai and his son Yakub came to four shops. Even though the expiry date written on the packet is gone, they called us a scoundrel to explain why they gave us this packet. Police have registered offenses under IPC 4, 506, 506 (2), 4, 114.
