Three-man attack on a student over the question of riding a bike in Dared

Jamnagar Dt 23: In Dared near Jamnagar yesterday, after a man got into a scuffle with a student over riding a motorcycle, three persons rushed into the student's house, attacked him with a pipe and beat two youths in which one of them broke his arm.

Ranjit Singh Jagdish Prasad Verma, a native of Tilokpur village in Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, who lives in a rented house in Shrihari Park in Dared village near Jamnagar, had an altercation with Dasharath Singh Jadeja, a resident of Dared, yesterday.

Dasharath Singh, who had rushed to Ranjit Singh's residence yesterday evening, along with his brother Jayendrasinh Jadeja and a person who had come to fetch water in each area, attacked him with a sledgehammer, a dhoka and a pipe. Ranjit Singh's brother Bhagat Singh, who intervened this time, was beaten and his arm was broken. All three were killed in the attack.

Ranjit Singh, one of the injured who was shifted for treatment, has lodged a complaint at the Panchkoshi B Division police station. The police have registered offenses under IPC 3, 4, 5, 506, 506 (2), 114 and section 12 (1) of the GPACT and started searching for the accused.
